So, I mean, moral of this story? Darron Lee is a pretty shitty dude and has possibly ruined his career. But, Leonard Williams comes out looking like a shining star and an absolutely physical specimen. He swatted Darron Lee away like a fly and then threw him under his arm like a petulant little child.
It looks like this took place at the Governor’s Ball music festival. Problem #1, nothing good happens at music festival. Many will tell you different; they’re liars. I’ve been there, done that, it’s a horrible idea for a normal person. Now, we’re going to add in a testosterone riddled guy who’s job it is to be physically aggressive? Not to mention that no one does a music festival sober, so he was either drunk or under the influence of a controlled. Bad mix. Jets, new rule next summer: No music festivals for active players.

P.S. I kind of hate this dude for having glasses on that take video. That’s some sort of James Bond stuff, right there. But, it also explains the fact that he had no idea that he was in the presence of NFL players. If Mark Zuckerberg walked by, you can bet your ass that he’d know who it was.

That is what appears to take place based on a video posted by Twitter user @gunnerpunner, who filmed the incident and in several tweets offered an eyewitness account of what went down. On the video, a man can be seen shouting at a woman then, according to the Twitter account, went on to “manhandle her’’ and “call her names.’’ Security then stepped in, but later, the man returned and began “dragging’’ the woman.
Williams in the video appears to intercede, first getting in the way of the man from going after the woman then picking up the man and moving him away. While the video is not entirely clear, the man being pulled away appears to be Lee.
“We are aware of the reports,” a Jets spokesman said. He continued, “we are taking them seriously, and we are looking into the specifics of the situation. We will have no further comment at this time.”
