Week 10 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire

The Week 10 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire is where the road to playoffs begin. This is the home stretch to a championship where every point matters and playing a dud versus a stud could cost you everything.

Here are some top pickups for Week 10 along with the FAAB (free agent acquisition budget) you should spend on each.
Did you grab DuJuan Harris last week to help drive your team to victory in week 9?

“No one wins a championship on draft day. Championships are won off the waiver wire.”

(Week 10 Bye: Buffalo, Detroit, Indianapolis, Oakland)

Quarterback:

Alex Smith, Kansas City Chiefs (24% owned) Suggested FAAB Bid- 5% of budget
Good streamer option in Week 10 if your primary quarterback has a bad matchup. Alex is coming back this week from concussion and gets a juicy matchup against the Carolina Panthers. Carolina gives up the 6th most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Nice streamer for Luck, Carr or Stafford owners.

Running backs:

Kapri Bibbs, Denver Broncos (5% owned) Suggested FAAB Bid- 15% of budget
Kapri Bibbs may have ended the Devontae Booker experiment early in Denver this past weekend. Gary Kubiak admitted he believes Bibbs deserves more snaps and Week 10 against New Orleans will be the perfect opportunity for him to break out.

Ronnie Hillman, Minnesota Vikings (2% owned) Suggested FAAB Bid- 5% of budget
Hillman joined the Vikings depleted backfield only about a month ago and is still getting used to the offense, but he is far and away the better athlete of the three running backs in Minnesota currently. Over the last three weeks he has seen more snaps and touches and it appears his workload may continue to increase since he is the only back currently putting positive gains together for the Vikings.

Wide receivers:

Rishard Matthews, Tennessee Titans (29% owned) Suggested FAAB Bid- 10% of budget
Rishard Matthews has given hope to fantasy owners that there is a wide receiver in Tennessee worth owning. Over the last five weeks Matthews has caught a touchdown or more in four of them. Gets a nice matchup in Week 10 with Green Bay who gives up the 10th most fantasy points to wide receivers.

JJ Nelson, Arizona Cardinals (15% owned) Suggested FAAB Bid- 15% of budget
JJ Nelson could be one of the most noteworthy pickups down the stretch for wide receivers. If you have wide receivers with a bye week or a bad matchup coming up, Nelson is a great addition. 19 targets in the last 2 games helps you feel confident Palmer is looking his way. Coming off his bye week Nelson gets San Francisco in week 10. SF has given up the 6th most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. Good spot start for Hilton, Crabtree or Cooper owners

Tight ends:

Lance Kendricks (15% owned) Suggested FAAB Bid- 5% of budget
No bye week troubles for tight ends this week, but Lance Kendricks has become a real waiver watch as of late. He has been Case Keenum’s safety blanket since early October, racking up 29 targets and propelling himself to a top 10 fantasy option over the last three weeks. The Rams play the deficient Jets pass defense in week 10, making Kendrick a nice streamer option. In addition to this week, its gets even more appealing rest of season for Lance. He plays Miami, New Orleans, Atlanta and San Francisco which could provide nice streamer matchup’s if you have the onions.

Honorable Mentions:
QB: Jay Cutler-CHI
RB: Ronnie Hillman-MIN
WR: Tyreek Hill-KC
TE: CJ Fiedorowicz-HOU
