Breaking news: LaVar Ball trying to ruin LaMelo’s NBA career now

Jesus Chirst, I got away for almost 2 years and we’re still talking about LaVar Ball? I thought we were done with this dude. I thought he shipped his kids over to Latvia and he was the Soviet block’s problem now. Apparently, I was wrong. Don’t worry… It’s a reoccurring theme. Stick around.

“That’s the part I don’t like about Golden State. They got Klay and the other guys, and now you want to put Melo in that mix to say you got to follow these guys. Melo ain’t no follower.”

– Lavar Ball

Is it 2018 again? Please God, tell me it’s not. I don’t know if I can handle an extra 2 years of Trump.

It’s what would be the traditional NBA Draft Week and apparently, there’s been rumors of Golden State being interested in LaMelo Ball. At the very least, they met with via Zoom. All of that was probably before his Pops started running his mouth.

By the way… LaMelo Ball is now 6’7 and cut his teeth in the highly physical Australian Basketball League. He skipped high school, so he probably isn’t great with geometry or geography. But, he’s one hell of a basketball player now.

Fun fact though, It appears that Golden State isn’t super interested in Lamelo Ball. So, is this LaVar’s demented way of saving face? Possibly. I also think that Golden State could be downplaying the LeMelo talk by saying they’re not interested. He works in their system. He’d be a good fit. But, they would need to make some serious moves. LaMelo paired with Clay and Steph would be great. But, they’d have to find a way to get out from under Wiggens.

Advantage? LeMelo’s upside and youth. If you could use guys like Step and Clay to mentor the young Ball, it would be great. But, you’re also always going to have deal with his father. The forever headache. The BBB: Big Baller Bozo.
