The Buffalo Sabres more-or-less locked up the direction of their franchise for the next decade tonight. They tossed the boy wonder, Jack Eichel a $10 million deal over the next 8 years, at least that’s what’s being reported.
Jack saw the success of Connor McDavid and Auston Matthews and said… “Yo, I want that paper too.” Well, he just got it.
Shout out Terrence Pegula for paying McDavid. Pegula and I are from the same hometown. So, in a big round about way, Jack Eichel can thank Carbondale, PA for that paycheck.
