Derek Fisher suspected of DUI after flipping car

I’m not sure if Derek Fisher doesn’t have the internet, he’s just stupid or if he just didn’t know about Tiger Woods’ incident last week. But, come on dude! Last night, Fisher (allegedly) flipped his car, and police suspect that it’s a DUI incident.

We talked about this last week, if you’re rich and famous, hire a god damn drive. If not? Call an UBER, man. It’s 2017 and there is absolutely no excuse for a DUI. I don’t care how bad of a coach Derek Fisher was, I’m sure he’s still got enough cash for an UBER ride. The fact that in this day and age people are still driving under the influence goes to show how many have poor judgment and make bad decisions. Why would anyone want to incur a DUI conviction, a dent in their wallet, and the legal hassle that would involve contacting a DUI Lawyer?

Nonetheless, Fisher will need to get in contact with a DUI lawyer, for instance, if you have not been through the system before then you may not know that every state has different types of DUI lawyers, so if Fisher was stopped in Denver then he would have had to contact a Denver dui lawyer to take his case as there are different laws and rules throughout America depending on the case. He may already have a lawyer on retainer in California, so let’s hope the end result is the right one for upholding the law.

EPSN: SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. — Former Los Angeles Lakers player and ex-New York Knicks head coach Derek Fisher was arrested Sunday on suspicion of drunken driving after he flipped his vehicle on a California highway, authorities said.

Neither Fisher nor his passenger, former “Basketball Wives” star Gloria Govan, were injured in the crash early Sunday, the California Highway Patrol said.

Fisher was driving on U.S. 101 in the Sherman Oaks area of Los Angeles when his 2015 Cadillac veered onto the right shoulder while approaching an interchange. The car hit the shoulder’s concrete curb and guardrail, overturned and came to a rest on its roof, blocking two lanes of the highway, Highway Patrol said.

Officers discovered that Fisher had been drinking and arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after a DUI test, authorities said.

Derek Fisher, apparently doesn’t know about UBER.
