Sports Betting Lines With Tom

Here’s a look at Tom’s sports betting lines for the week of February 27, 2017.

Well it’s officially the last week of the regular season for men’s NCAA basketball. I’m 19-15-0(56%) since I started writing these articles and I’m hungry for a few more wins before the March Madness. Producer Cavi is currently blowing up my spot on Twitter regarding his unbelievable picking skills. Cavi went 5/6 last night while picking certain categories of the Oscars. Congratulations! Greebull went 9/9 when picking the Royal Rumble. On that note, let’s take a look at the tough match ups we’ll be picking tonight.

(8) North Carolina (25-5)  at  (18) Virginia (19-9)

Line: UNC -2.5

Undoubtedly the ACC is the best conference in college basketball this year. North Carolina is (13-3) in conference play while Virginia is (9-7). The Cavaliers looked horrendous in their last matchup against the Tar Heels losing 65-41. Virginia shot 27.8% from the field and only 10% from the 3-point line in that game. This game should come down to the wire as the Cavaliers look to make a final push before tourney time. Unfortunately the Tar Heels will be looking to claim the ACC title with a win at Virginia.

Tom’s Pick: UNC -2.5

(12) West Virginia (23-6)  at  (9) Baylor (23-6)

Line: Baylor -2

West Virginia pounded Baylor in their last outing 89-68. Baylor had a tough time handling the defensive pressure the Mountaineers placed on the Bears. If you glanced at any of these articles in the past I’ve always bashed Baylor (sorry Bears fans!) I don’t think they are that good of a team and are a likely candidate for a 1 and done in the tournament. Baylor lost 3 of their last 4 games while West Virginia is on a three game winning streak. I think Mountaineers come into Waco and get the job done. WVU’s defense will again be too much for the Bears to handle.

Tom’s Pick: WVU +2

Oklahoma (10-18)  at  (3) Kansas (26-3)

Line: Kansas -13

The only hope that the Sooners have in this one is praying that Coach Self will play some bench players in preparation for the NCAA tournament. Oklahoma had a convincing win in their last outing knocking off Kansas St 81-51, but was only 1-9 in the prior 10 games. The Jayhawks won their last 6 games and will be looking to continue that streak. Frank Mason is a stud! He leads the team in points per game (20.2) and assists per game (4.9) I look for Frank and the Jayhawks to jump out early and hold their foot on the Sooners head.

Tom’s Pick: Kansas -13
