I’d like to give you a rundown of my Royal Rumble Predictions and provide a preview of one of the most exciting WWE events of the year.
The road to Wrestlemania starts at the Royal Rumble. This year it will take place at the Alamodome in San Antonio, where 20 years ago it broke the Royal Rumble attendance record with over 60,000 strong in attendance. This Sunday WWE looks to shatter that record, and to do so they assembled the most electrifying Royal Rumble match in history. This year’s Royal Rumble is star studded with names such as The Undertaker, Goldberg and Brock Lesner which collectively have the draw power of Wrestlemania.
If the Royal Rumble match itself wasn’t big enough, the event also includes 5 championship matches too. I can’t remember a WWE pay per view event that I was more looking forward to watching than this year’s Royal Rumble.
I think the setup of this card is a great way for WWE to spotlight the younger stars like Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens and Charlotte Flair while still keeping their big draw superstars involved. I expect to see some surprise entrants into the Royal Rumble match and I won’t be shocked to see appearances from Triple H and Seth Rollins somewhere in the show.
